Auto Pack

Overview

Auto Pack is built with privacy in mind. Your items and trips are your data. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or tracking purposes.

Data Stored on Your Devices

All items, trips, and packing lists you create are stored locally on your device and synced across your Apple devices using Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) service. This data is managed entirely by Apple's infrastructure and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

We do not have access to your iCloud data.

On-Device AI Processing

Auto Pack uses Apple's on-device intelligence (Foundation Models) to categorize items and analyze trip details. All AI processing happens entirely on your device — no data is sent to external servers for this purpose.

On devices that do not support on-device AI, a built-in database of common travel items is used for categorization, and users can manually assign categories and tags.

Third-Party Services

Auto Pack uses the following third-party services:

• Apple iCloud (CloudKit) — for syncing your data across devices. Managed by Apple.

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Reminders Access

If you choose to import items from the Reminders app, Auto Pack requests read-only access to your Reminders. This data is read locally on your device and is only used to populate your item library. Reminder data never leaves your device.

Data Retention

All your data — items, trips, and packing lists — is stored only on your devices and in your personal iCloud account. No user data is sent to or stored on external servers.

Children's Privacy

Auto Pack does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require an account or any personal information to use.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
